Jeeva

Introducing “Jeeva” — a sculptural, floor-standing lamp. Named after the Sanskrit word Jeeva, meaning life, the lamp draws from the idea that life is never a straight line — it moves, bends, evolves and finds its own rhythm. The form takes inspiration from a wave, expressed through a flowing structure crafted entirely from rattan reeds. Its varying depths are highlighted through a deep brown ombré, evoking the different phases and depths we encounter through life. Nestled within the wave are small forms resembling seeds — each one a source of light. Crafted from rattan core using the traditional wicker technique, the seeds bring another layer of craft and tactility to the piece. Each light is activated simply by touch. Battery-operated and free from the constraints of an electrical outlet, Jeeva can be placed in any corner of a space, becoming both illumination and sculpture.

Jeeva — a celebration of life, its curves, its depths and the light within.
